German Building in Paris 1937

Post by von thoma » 31 Jan 2020 21:59

I am interested in this building in Expo 1937

Was it a temporary building, constructed like a movie set ? What was its fate after the closure of Expo ?
Thanks for your answers

German building (no.26) was facing Soviet building (no.14), both constructed on Avenue de Tokio (now called Avenue de New York, next to the Place de Varsovie, where Polish exhibition area was (no.25).

And this is how it looks today, from Google.
