Hamburg (?) Festival 1937

Nazis were skilled at staging parades and folk festivals. This footage is supposedly from Hamburg in 1937. Looks like the host is Dr. Robert Ley and the Kraft Durch Freude organization.
This is really good footage and I suspect YouTube will pull it. The floats are very creative and the festival also celebrates other countries / cultures like Romania and Spain. Swastikas abound.

I know. I found it fascinating..it looks similar to the “2000 years of German Art” parade that was held in Munich. Maybe that was a traveling show that visited various cities, the floats borrowed, or certain acts were used in several localities.
Like I said above, I doubt this will remain on YouTube for long . They really suck now
I’m sick of British Pathe News...

I think it's this one originally from here:

1937 Reichstagung der NS-Gemeinschaft »Kraft durch Freude« in Hamburg (Nr. 3)
Deutschland 1937, Kurz-Dokumentarfilm
Production company: I.G. Farbenindustrie AG (Agfa) (Frankfurt am Main)
https://www.filmportal.de/en/movie/1937 ... mburg-nr-3

It says original footage was 10min, so more than 1min is missing, perhaps credits...

BTW. Those Norwegian boys playing German national anthem in funny berets which look like Jewish kippah...interesting.

Thanks for finding that Greg. So it really was
Hamburg (I wasn’t sure) and was an actual “propaganda short” with title.

100% sure is Hamburg. The reconstructed buildings around the Rathaus, look the same as today.
