Most interesting battle photography by German war photographers?
In looking at my collection- it appears to be the photographs taken in the battle for Stalingrad. Any others?

Re: Most interesting battle photography by German war photographers?
I am not sure if it qualifies as a 'battle' photograph, bur for me the one that sticks most in my mind is of a German motorcyclist with a wounded comrade in the sidecar, taken during the Polish campaign (outside of Warsaw I think, but I wouldn't lay a bet on it). The wounded man is clearly in a bad way and the driver appears to be asking for directions - to a hospital or first aid post perhaps. The striking thing is that he is clearly utterly distraught. Like all great photos it makes you want to know what the background is. Are they friends? Lovers? Why has he stopped? Did the wounded man survive?
Alas, can I find it now?????

Another "old-style", but very complexe website, probably already known to most members here in the AHF forum,
very well done, right on the topic, no typical "bla-bla" at all.

Battle of Kursk: Tiger 1 of the Waffen-SS being loaded with 8.8 cm grenades near Belgorod, late July 1943

Photos by SS war reporters are shown on https://www.kriegsberichter-archive.com. They mostly show no battle scenes. This one was likely taken during an exercise.

I think I found a new favorite- the war photography taken in the 4th Panzer Army area Dec 1942- March 1943. These are better than the Kursk and Stalingrad photos IMHO.
