Did the Nazis ever publish any pro-Polish propaganda?
Did the Nazis ever publish any pro-Polish propaganda either before or during the war?
In 1935 some Nazis, including the Nazi leader Adolf Hitler, attended a funeral memorial service for the Polish First Marshall Jozef Pilsudski in Berlin.
As far as I know, the Nazis never published any anti-Polish propaganda before late 1938 and 1939. Did they ever publish any pro-Polish propaganda in the 1930s?

Odd green uniform coloring, had the Führer been made honorary Reichsforstmeister earlier that day?

Re: Did the Nazis ever publish any pro-Polish propaganda?
What exactly would be a goal/purpose of this Nazi pro-Polish propaganda in pre-war years?
I assume that propagada would be directed towards German people???
From what we can actually see during 1933-1938 every step in normalisation of bilateral relations was immediately used by Nazi propaganda as a significant achievement of a new regime.
Eg. signing of a German–Polish declaration of non-aggression happened just at the end of Nazis first year in power and was mentioned as a success in AH's Reichstag speech of January 30, 1934. To be frank there was not much more to show for after that one year.

Well, when Pilsudski died, Göring spoke in the Reichstag of the “uns befreundeten polnischen Nation”.

What please, was the source of this later "colored" photo from the 1935 ceremony ?
All the known photos are in b/w, only this photo in color stands out, probably (re)colored after 1945 ?
Hans

Poland had a prewar tradition to hand-color photographs.

Heinrich Himmler regarded the Poles as being the “toughest of nations” that needed to be by the “iron tongs” of the German Volkstum.

Well in 1935 when the Nuremberg Laws were announced the Polish minority who were living in Germany were used as examples of a people who were of 'related blood' to the Germans and were eligible to Reich citizenship.GregSingh wrote: ↑26 Dec 2021, 09:16What exactly would be a goal/purpose of this Nazi pro-Polish propaganda in pre-war years?
