One thing that pizzles we is that its Mussolni and Prime minister of France who hold the high cards King/Queen /Aces/Jack..instead of A.H.????
Was A.H not taken seriously at this time?
By the what card hands are Ah and Chamberlian holding?

Pre-Anschluss (i.e., when Mussolini was still Hitler's political rival), it was a realistic portrait of the situation.
The Second Italo-Ethiopian War changed that and made Mussolini politically weak.

Benito Mussolini accepted the Anschluss. Even until September in 1938 (prior to the Munich Agreement) it was entirely plausible.
