Goering bunker at Obersalzberg

Post by Mannheim » 12 Jun 2023 05:12

About twelve years ago I posted some photos I had taken on the Obersalzberg in the mid-Seventies,1982 and 1989. Amongst them was a photo of a structure that I could not identify and neither could Geoff (from memory). Today, while flicking through Florian Beierl's "Inside Hitler's Mountain" I noticed the similarity between Göring's bunker (being demolished) and my old photo. I'm pretty sure it's correct as I do recall clambering all over the site of the Göring House at the time. For those who are interested, the rest of my photos can be found here and in subsequent pages:viewtopic.phpf=44&t=28208&hilit=Mannhei ... start=1830

Try this: viewtopic.php?f=44&t=28208&start=1830 If it doesn't work the photos are on page 123 under "Berghof Obersalzberg".
