Question about verse from German children's book

Post by Cantankerous » 28 Jun 2023 02:34

The book The Holocaust Chronicle mentions on page 103 the following verse from a German children's book published in 1936:
The Devil is the father of the Jew.
When God created the world,
He invented the races:
The Indians, Negroes, the Chinese,
And also the wicked creature called the Jew.
Does anyone have an idea of the name of the German's children book from which this verse comes?

The author is Elvira Bauer, the title is “Trau keinem Fuchs auf grüner Heid und keinem Jud auf seinem Eid” (Published by Stürmer Verlag, 1936). (Translates to “Trust No Fox on his Green Heath And No Jew on his Oath”)
