In the first picture, is the tall one with the cigarette holder Ernst Hanfstaengl?

Re: Berghof Obersalzberg
What I find interesting on these photos is, that the longer section of the terrace stone railing is missing its concrete top that is seen on the shorter section on one of the pictures. Were these pictures thus taken while the final touches on the newly built Berghof were being completed?Helly Angel wrote: ↑07 Apr 2021 01:29Hello all,
This friend is one the great misteries of the Berghof, at least to me! Someone know who is he?
Best regards,

Hello all!
Someone know who is the first lady since the left?
The rest of the group are Hanni Morell, Albert Speer, Sofie Stork and Anni Brandt. No date.
No sure but I´m thinking is Margret Speer....

I agree- have always thought that was EB, even though it may not look like her in other photos. But she changed her appearance frequently.

You´re right! Thanks both!
Geoff, I have an observation about the picture with AH and the woman in the great window... I was thinking of writing it here but I think I better send it to direct mail, it is to make the correction on the website.

To my eyes EB is not in that picture. But I certainly would defer to those more knowledgeable.Geoff Walden wrote: ↑27 Apr 2021 14:32I agree- have always thought that was EB, even though it may not look like her in other photos. But she changed her appearance frequently.
Did EB usually wear a watch/bracelet on her right wrist? Has she been photographed in that dress before? I don't recall seeing her before with that hair style.

I agree with Biber... I have the same doubts.

Sorry Geoff, I also don’t think that it is EB. Facial features are just too different.

Yes same person, but I'm still not convinced it's EB. I don't think Eva's features were that pudgy (cheeks & nose) and she didn't tend to smile like that as far as I can tell. What is the original source of the pictures? Who would most likely have been behind the camera?
Edit: It could very well be EB. The bracelet appears the same as that seen in other photos of EB. Geoff is right she seemed to be a woman of a 1000 faces.

Re: Berghof Obersalzberg
I was going to express some doubts about the first photo, at least, not complete certainty, but Chris's second photo certainly seems to me to show EB. In addition to changing hair styles, it seems she went through phases of thin face - pudgy face ... she probably dieted a lot, although I seem to remember that Hitler said he didn't like skinny women. As Biber said, certainly a woman of very different appearances.

Helly, do you mean this photo?Helly Angel wrote: ↑27 Apr 2021 17:06Geoff, I have an observation about the picture with AH and the woman in the great window... I was thinking of writing it here but I think I better send it to direct mail, it is to make the correction on the website.
I am not at all sure about that identification. I have seen this women also identified as Sofie Stork (but it doesn't look like her to me) and Anni Brandt, as well as Gretl Mitlstrasser. It's too bad the online print (Album 3-13A) is not clearer, and there is no identification shown.

Re: Berghof Obersalzberg
Interesting. I checked some books and in another photo from that same tea party, the 'EB' woman is labelled as von Below's wife.
I'm not sure that's correct. I am putting my Reichchmarks on it being Eva Braun.
