Nazi rally in Berlin 1939

Post by Beppo Schmidt » 16 Nov 2003 20:43

Can anyone tell me if there was a major Nazi rally in Berlin in 1939 shortly before the invasion of Poland which was attended by at least Hitler, Himmler, and Göbbels, the date, the location, and who else was present? Thanks.

No, there is not Reichparteitag in 1939. Was suspended for the war.

It name was "Der Parteitag des Friedes" (Peace) of course in Nürember, but never was made.

The last Rally was in 1938. I´m going to post the original photos in next days. I posted the photos of 1933, 34, 35 and 36.

I have the photos of 1937 and 38.

Best,

Didn't Hitler give a speech in Berlin Olympic Stadium in 1939? Or was it 1938

My friend was in the RAD setting up the grounds for the party day when the second world war broke out, he was then sent to the French front to dig trenches before being drafted to the Wehrmacht. The party day was all together canceled

Can anyone tell me where I can find the text of this speech? Was it broadcast over the radio?
