I did find one remark so far in my private library (from Heysing).

It is the bio of a former PK man (Rolf Kröncke) and it is said (translated from German):

["... he came to 2. MKBK (Obtl. Fritz Erhardt) to Wilhelmshaven and he was added to the leader of the Schnellnoote, Kpt. z.S. Rudolf Petersen. Main battle area was the Channel and from June 1944 on the fight against the invasion]"

I think that MKBK stands for Marine KriegsBerichter Kompanie.

Should i find more, i let you know.

I found a few more pk mentioned (Heysing).
But as I read, I feel that most of these units were working from further east of the invasion beaches.

Working against the invasion were at least:

"Skorpion West", Paris,
1. Prop. Einsatz Komp ("Berichtertrupps an Invasionsfront"),
Chef: Peter Wolfframm

PK698 (Chef Dr. Gabel)

PK 649 (Hölscher and Lehrmann)

PK696 (From Bordeaux) (Barth)

PK619 (From Marseille Avignon) (Chef: Runge)

So far....
