I'd say that appears a certainty, Greg.
Thank you very much!
A clean sweep- no face without a name. Here is the caption I will use:

Wawel Castle, Kraków, January 1940: Members of the board of the Emissionsbank in Polen (Bank of Issue in Poland; Pol.: Bank Emisynjy) meet with Generalgouverneur Dr. Frank. From left to right: Dr. Fritz Paersch (supervisor of the Emissionsbank on behalf of the Reichsbank), Dr. Max Freiherr du Prel (Abteilungsleiter für Presse und Propaganda in the Generalgouvernement, 00.10.1939-00.07.1940; Referat für Kulturkpolitik in the Institut für Deutche Ostarbeit; and author of Das Generalgouvernement [1942]), Frank, Feliks Młynarski (a Polish economist and President of the Bank of Issue, under the supervision of Paersch), Rudolf Jędrzejowski (deputy president of the bank), and Geheimen Ministerialrat Dr. Richard Zetsche (first Abteilungsleiter für Wirtschaft in the Generalgouvernement, 00.10.1939-00.06.1940).

Best wishes,
~ Mike

Re: Generalgouvernement - History, Organization, & Personalities - "diary of Hans Frank"

Published by the Institute of National Remembrance new edition, beginning with "Zero" Volume of Hans Frank's Diary - "Rok 1939 w dzienniku Hansa Franka" ["1939 in the diary of Hans Frank"] - has 136 large-format pages and contains 36 typescript documents. With expertise in the German legal language, the documents were unfortunately translated only into Polish by the respected translator Viktor Grotowicz. The journal in a critical study and careful edition concerns 1939. It is an exceptionally tragic and sad time for Poles. The journal covers the period from October 25, 1939, when a document was written in Lodsch [now Łódź] concerning the circumstances of appointing Hans Frank as the general governor in occupied Poland, until December 20, 1939, that is, until the day on which an account of Frank's consultations with a representative was prepared at Wawel in Kraków. from Berlin von Wühlisch on incidents on the German-Soviet demarcation line.
Initially, the diary consisted of 38 volumes bound by the bookbinder. After the war, two more were added to them, compiled from Frank's unframed documents found in several folders. In total, the journal consisted of 11,367 pages, including 10,774 pages of the actual text and 593 pages of indexes.
Earlier was published in polish two volumes:
  • Dziennik Hansa Franka, edited Stanisław Piotrowski, Sprawy Polskie Przed Międzynarodowym Trybunałem Wojennym w Norymberdze (tom 1), Wydawnictwo Prawnicze, Warszawa 1956. [The Diary of Hans Frank, Polish Affairs Before the International War Tribunal in Nuremberg, vol. 1]
Dziennik Hansa Franka i dowody polskie przeciwko SS, opracował Stanisław Piotrowski, Sprawy Polskie Przed Międzynarodowym Trybunałem Wojennym w Norymberdze (tom 2), Wydawnictwo Prawnicze, Warszawa 1970. [Hans Frank's diary and Polish evidence against the SS, Polish Affairs Before the International War Tribunal in Nuremberg, vol. 2]
It is not known when we will see the next volumes of this document.

This photograph of a laughing Hans Frank was taken on 1 September 1940 at the residence of Otto von Wächter (Head of the Krakow District) Potocki Palace (Pod Baranami Palace). On that day, the first anniversary of the outbreak of war against the Republic of Poland, the Main Square was renamed Adolf-Hitler-Platz. This ceremony was followed by a small breakfast for the guests of honour. The NAC website contains many photos of the event.
