Pathologist asks did Hitler take poison?

#1

Post by Bill Medland » 20 Dec 2002, 20:33

A Cologne Police Pathologist is to view Hitler`s
remains. Did he take poison or just shoot himself?
The pathologist is to carry out tests on Hitler`s remains
and the part of the sofa with his blood stains.
Also a DNA test is to be carried out and compared
to the DNA of Hitler's sister.
German Press Agency.

Regards,Bill.

This guy is going to exhume the body of this innocent woman. Good grief, put an end to it. We have the testimony of the bunker survivors. That should be enough.

The Hitler remains in Russia must have their DNA checked
with Hitler`s sisters remains to check that they are in fact his.
Only then will the tests for poison be carried out.
It is most likely that he only shot himself and took no
poison at all?

I think the question is vital to all those interested in Hitler`s
final actions, and the thought of digging up his sister does
not creat any problems for me.

Whether these are really Hitler's remains is a historical question and doesn't have anything to do with the guilt or innocence of his sister. The witnesses from the bunker cannot say for sure whether the remains disinterred are Hitler's, although I agree that in the 21st century we can safely say that Hitler is really dead.

Another thing is that since medieval times it has been the responsibility of coroners to meticulously record deaths and circumstances of death in the realm, and it is no different here. Ordering an exhumation to settle a prominent death is not really any big deal for authorities.

Personally, I think that Hitler bit the glass cyanide capsule and then pulled the trigger on his Walther just to make sure. Obviously he couldn't pull the trigger and then bite the poison just to make sure, assuming that it matters.

Interesting that - after having denied for half a century that they had any Hitler 'bits' at all - now they suddenly even have upholstery from the Hitler suite in the bunker......wasn't there a fire in at least that part of the bunker shortly after the suicide? Our Kolner pathologist will,I think, have an uphill struggle. But if nothing else he'll get his five minutes in the limelight!
