The plane of Hess

#1

Post by Mich » 14 Feb 2003, 15:42

Hello!

I've read that the remains of the plane of Rudolf Hess are saved.
Does anyone know if they are in a museum or something and where they are?

Information would be great!

Thanx,

Michael

Hello
I was In Edinburgh Last week and in Edinburgh castle there is a small millitary museum. There is a small piece of the aircraft in this museum If this is anything to go by the rest must be in equally small pieces.

Actually, its the Imperial War Museum in Lambeth in South London that has a section of the ME110 tha Hess flew to Scotland in. Hendon is the RAF museum in North London. Both are good, but I prefer Hendon.

I have pics too of it, but don't know how to post them on the website.
