Re: Stoßtrupp Hitler 1923
This is a picture of former Stoßtrupp member Alois Rosenwink in 1934, so ten years after the trial photo was taken (by then he was 25 years old). Sorry for the bad quality but the scan was taken from a photocopy of his personal file.
To identify faces is not my strongest point, so I hope somebdoy can find him in the trial picture.

He looks like the man someone mistook for Hermann Esser (see page three of this thread for close-up view from trial photo).

Johann [Hans] Schön ,this is from his party file, Blutorden number 501. Can we now identify him on the trial photo, is he number 38 ?

Hans is number 24, some new photographs of him came to light and beyone any doubt he is number 24 at the top of this photo.

Re: Stoßtrupp Hitler 1923
Since my last post seems to have gone lost, I repeat, that No. 9 is clearly Ludwig Schmied. His physiognomy is quite unmistable and the very much the same in this picture taken in 1924 as it is in the picture attached to his NSDAP record card which is kept in the BerliN Document Centre.
Re: Stoßtrupp Hitler 1923
Here a picture of Schmied.

Another Stosstrupp Adolf Hitler Reunion photo from 1933. Many of the same faces: Fiehler, Fobke etc. from the NARA.

Re: Stoßtrupp Hitler 1923
Photo taken at the Buergerbraeukeller on the night of November 8, 1933. This was the only Stosstrupp/Putsch celebration that Josef Berchtold (left of Hitler) attended. Emil Maurice is among the men near the top of the stairs (three rows down from the top). I think Ulrich Graf is to the right of Hitler, which is odd since he wasn't a Stosstrupp man.
Hitler is the only one wearing a GPB. He may have been the only person who actually had this decoration in 1933. Thereafter, he ceased wearing it for some years...

Johann [Hans] Schön is directly behind Hitler, the man with no hair in the centre.

Re: Stoßtrupp Hitler 1923
After reviewing the several photos posted here and others, I have come to the conclusion that Hans Haug is NOT # 13 but actually # 25, the man previously identified incorrectly as Hermann Esser. But comparing the 1930's photo of Haug and adding a mustache # 25 definitely turns out to be Haug. The hairline and features now match. See the comparison attached, Number 13 is actually Rosenwink.

Are there any group photos of the Stosstrupp available in the years 1936 , 1937 , 1938 or 1939 ? would be interesting to see how many had the Blood Order or Golden Party badge ? thanks .
