So then, a few - hopefully purposeful - hints:

His trace can be found in Gau Westfalen North - he was leader of the SA-Standarte 471 (Dülmen), later leader of the SA-Standard 256 (Hamm) and he was a holder of the Blood Order,Ratsherr (councilor) of the city of Hamm and a member of the Großdeutschen Reichstag,
His older sister Martha was killed as Victim of the so-called Euthanasia (Action T 4) on 01.12.1941 in the "Heilanstalt" Hadamar. His older brother Julius was the later NSDAP-Kreisleiter in Coesfeld and then in Lüdinghausen.

Thanks very much for your response, Manfred, but in that case, what is that little design on the left edge of his left tab? An SA-Oberführer's tab should not have any pip, so what is that little design?

Interesting: The issue of "Kampf und Sieg: Die Träger des Goldenen Ehrenzeichens der NSDAP. im Gau Westfalen-Sud" published in 1938 lists Franz Bielefeld as resident in that Gau. The article titled "Die Ehrenzeichenträger im Gau Westfalen-Nord" published in the 1940 edition of "Mit der Partei vorwärts! Zehn Jahre Gau Westfalen-Nord" lists Julius Bielefeld as resident in that Gau. Perhaps the brothers moved between the years 1938 and 1940?
