NSDAP, other Party orgs. & Government ID Quiz
Re: NSDAP, other Party orgs. & Government ID Quiz
Hello, Br. James,
thank you for your question, but in this case it is not the star of a brigade leader - "the small design" on the left edge of his left tab is the number of the Standarte: "256", whose leader he was from 15.11.1936 to 07.04. 1945.
and
yes, you old fox Halfdan S., - of course, the requested person is Franz Bielefeld
and thus the ball is with you again
best
Manfred

Early associate of Dr. Hans Frank
Re: NSDAP, other Party orgs. & Government ID Quiz
Thanks for the clarification, mapugu. I don't think I've ever seen an SA senior officer's tab with the Standarte number added like that! There must have been a regulation against doing this!!
Cheers,
Br. James

Re: NSDAP, other Party orgs. & Government ID Quiz
Our persons claim for fame came after the war when some of his writings were published.
Re: NSDAP, other Party orgs. & Government ID Quiz
Regrettable Sten, one might think that today is Halloween, or once again nobody wants to answer you from the wise ghosts ... well no matter - here my humble suggestion:
The Munich lawyer Heinrich Heim (b 15.06.1900 in Munich - d 26.06.1988 in Munich), known since 1920 with Adolf Hitler and according to own data since 19.07.1920 member of the NSDAP was (his original member number was then 1782 be - the later member number was 386 127).
After passing his university exam Heim settled in Munich and worked together with Hans Frank in a legal partnership, where he mainly advocated the interests of led by Bormann aid fund.
In 1933, Pg. Heim was called by Rudolf Hess to the Brown House, where he dealt mainly with questions of legislation, until he was ordered to act as adjutant to Martin Bormann's in Fuehrer's headquarters in 1939. In July 1940, after the end of the campaign in France, Bormann Heim commissioned to find all literature, especially illustrated books on theater architecture. Immediately after the ceasefire began, the construction of new theaters was to begin in the German Reich, as Hitler found it "grotesque" that most German cities had only insignificant, over 200 years old theaters. In his research, which led Heim into numerous antique shops, libraries and theater collections, he met in Vienna Joseph Gregor. In mid-December 1940 he came to Paris, where he discovered in the bookstore "Shakespeare and Company" on a volume with designs by Edward Gordon Craig, which he visited in the episode together with the art dealer Bruno Conrad in Saint Germain en Laye. Again and again he met Craig, bought parts of his collection or got some works as a thank you for financial support. Heim, which remained in Paris until the start of the Russian campaign, was known to the public mainly because of the so-called "table talks" Adolf Hitler's Berghof recorded in the period from July 1941 to September 1942. From the autumn of 1942 he headed the department for dealing with fundamental questions of a new design of Europe.
With effect from 20.04.1943 he (SS No. 278.228) was promoted to SS-Standartenführer.
After the war he was interned as a former National Socialist until the end of 1948 in the "Automatic Arrest" of the American military government.
Spooky greetings from Germany
Manfred

Re: NSDAP, other Party orgs. & Government ID Quiz
He was an East Elbe aristocrat who committed himself to the NSDAP before 1933. As SA-Standartenführer he led in 1933 the Standard 140 (Königsberg / Neumark), as SA-Oberführer he was then available to the SA-Gruppe Ostmark. As a district administrator (Landrat) in Lübben, Schlochau and Minden he had various differences with Wilhelm Kube, Franz Schwede-Coburg and Alfred Meyer between 1933 and 1942.

Re: NSDAP, other Party orgs. & Government ID Quiz
The answer is correct in principle
Just for the sake of good order - here's a better picture of him:
So far - so good, but I do not want to ask you now "which Udo von Alvensleben?"
In fact, he is Udo Gebhard Ferdinand von Alvesleben and not identical with Udo August Ernst von Alvensleben - just as Stephan D. Yada-Mc Neal wants to untie us a bear in his book "Hitler's williger Adel" on page 186 ...

Actually tragic, who loves to chop off a lot, should copy at least then the right photos.
Well: "To err is human, said the cock and got off the duck ..."
All right and back to you

The End of the War wasn't the End to this fellows career ... he would rise to Staatssekretär after the War.
