I doubt there will ever be a statue of Hitler. There is a statue of Von Stauffenberg in Berlin. (Proper thing).

The reason Hitler didn't have statues everywhere, was because he had no reason to, unlike these dictators like Stalin, Hussein, and so on, is they believe the state is there to serve them, and Hitler, as any good leader, realized his life was meaningless next to that of the nation and the Reich, and as statues wouldn't help Germany in anyway, they served no purpose... Hitler was an Ultra-Nationalist, and the Ideal Patriot, not an irrational dictator bent on self glorification

True, for Hitler, the nation=all & the individual=almost nothing.

Where did you hear about Idi Amin wanting a Hitler statue? Just curious - he was a real monster too...
