Some personal questions about Hitler
I have always wondered how tall was Hitler? Generally how much did he weight? Any additional information would be nice.

Adolf Hitler was short. From memory, I think that he was around 175cm tall. He had a slender body due, I believe, to his vegetarianism. A lack of meat causes a lack of protein, and this leads to a lack of musculature.I have always wondered how tall was Hitler? Generally how much did he weight? Hitler
5'9" is hardly short - medium height I'd say. Mussolini was slightly shorter - around 5'7" - and heavier than Hitler.
Hitler weighed around 155 pounds.

Hitler was not short, but of average height.
His racial-ideology made him seem short in relation to what he talks about. However that is irrelevant.
Hitler was not a vegetarian throughout his life. He ate meat during his youth, and only became a vegatarian after a partciular incident which I currently don't remember. It could be a family death, but I cannot recall, however, he was not a child when he 'converted' (I guess) to vegetarianism.

Hitler and the fatted calf...
People tend to justify their actions by beliefs within a larger context. Hitler was fascinated by Hinduism, which espouses vegetariansim, and the ancient Aryans, who were supposedly Caucasians. Hitler may have "converted" to vegetarianism but the real reason was a chronic gall bladder condition which made eating rich foods unbearable. Hitler's medical condition probably could have easily been corrected with surgery to remove gallstones, but it reinforced a sense of his imminient mortality, thus making him tragically incautious. Count Ciano once described Hitler as a gambler. But what is really pathetic are those who aped vegetarianism in order to curry favor in Hitler's court. Nevertheless, meat was always served to Hitler's guests in his presence.

I don't suppose anyone's got a pdf or doc or whatever ebook format version of that? Obtaining books in print is somewhat of a problematic issue for me -- for various reasons I can't even mug the local library.Demosthenes wrote:Read Heinz Guderian's exellent memoirs "Erinnerung eines Soldaten" (Panzer Leader in english)
