Information about Hess' post-war time

Did Rudolf Hess write any books or any documented texts at all during his time in prison? I fail to find anything by him.
In Wikipedia there are claims of him having supported the nazi time until his death. But there is no source for that claim. Where do we know these things about him from? I would love to look more into these things.

I can't believe Rudolf Hess' spent 46 years in prison and did not ever feel the need to write something for the outside world.

There is a volume in English called -Prisoner of Peace, England-Nuremberg-Spandau by Ilse Hess. It is letters exchanged between Hess and his wife during the early part of his imprisonment.

As you are I presume you are a German speaker there is lots about Hess written by his son Wolf-Rudiger Hess titles include-

Mein Vater Rudolf Hess: Englandflug und Gefangenschaft .

Rudolf Hess, "Ich bereue nichts" -

This contains copies of letters and papers from his life including later letters from Spandau.

Mord an Rudolf Hess ? Der geheimnisvolle Tod meines Vaters in Spandau.

This book is about Rudolf Hess being murdered at Spandau in the opinion of his son Wolf Rudiger. Obviously it's contents should be taken with a pinch of salt.

I have the above titles in my collection although my copies are in English.

Regards,

Ron

There is numerous works on Hess in Spandau Prison that contain good information some credible, some not. They include-

Long Knives and Short Memories: Spandau Prison Story by Jack Fishman

Spandau The Secret Diaries by Albert Speer

Farewell to Spandau by Tony Le Tissier.

Le Tissier the last British Governor of Spandau Allied Prison 1981-1987.

The Loneliest Man in the World by Eugene K. Bird.

Bird was a Governor at Spandau who had to resign because of secretly preparing a book on Hess in Spandau.

Tales from Spandau: Nazi Criminals and the Cold War, by Norman J.W. Goda.

This is the most recent study on Spandau [2006]

Thank you a lot for these suggestions Dutto1!!

I couldn't find any of these on Hess' Wikipedia or anything.
And as you already assumed: Yes, fortunately I am a native German speaker so even german-only available ones would be no problem.

Again, thank you a lot. This will give me something to read for the summer to learn about Hess.
