Who recognizes the organisation ?

In this field I'm totally off balance.
Can someone say what unit this man belongs to ? (SA, Allgemeine SS, ...) and where this "unit/organisation" was located end 1944 ?

Hello Friends,

I was contacted by a forum member who believes this to be the picture of a lower rank SA-member of Sturm 22, part of SA-Standarte 7 located in Berlin Wilmersdorf.

The photo is a partial screenshot of a propaganda press photo depicting a recrutement office for the Volkssturm taken in October 1944. The most of the remaining SA-men were drafted in this "new armed force".

The captation on the back gives the date: october 1944, but not the exact location or even city.
With the ID of Standarte 7 in Berlin, the location of the recrutement office is now roughly known.

If someone knows the exact location for Sturm 22 ...

Yes, but that would be early 30's. If you are after 1943/44 SA-Standarte 7 was in Berlin Schlachtensee.

Wilmersdorf was a typo, It should be ZEHLENDORF
Below a 1942 letter with the SA Standarte 7 stamp.

Where did you find the Schlachtensee 1943/44 info ? I found that the 3rd sturm had its base there.

Zehlendorf is next to Schlachtensee, so it fits.
