Who was Alwiß Rosenberg (Artaman, 1906-1980)?

Hello everyone,

I am working on the Artaman movement for my Master's thesis and I have come across Alwiß Rosenberg, who was an important member.
The only things I know about him are as follow:

Born 1906, died 1980 in Flensburg
Was a member of the Artamans and then of the Freundeskreis der Artamanen after the war
Wrote a Dissertation about the Artamans in 1942 in Berlin.
No apparent relation with Alfred Rosenberg.

Given his age he likely served in the Wehrmacht, he may have been a member of the SS as well.
If anyone has heard of him, that would help me a lot. Thanks!

Hi waltervc,

It seems the only place where the thesis can be found is the Archiv der Jugendbewegung in the Burg Ludwigstein, Witzenhausen, Hessen. The reference is AdJb Fonds B No B/ 213/052.

I'm writing my Master's thesis in french.
As a follow-up on my post, I found the following informations:
Dr. Alwiß Rosenberg.
Traveling salesman by craft, Doctor in Agronomy in 1942
Born 15.07.1906 in Berchtesgaden
Died 24.02.1980 in Flensburg
Served in the Wehrmacht in 1944-1945
Detained as a PoW in Soviet captivity until 1955.

I read last year about a french guy writing a thesis artam=nazis and he visited the archiv of Burg Ludwigstein. It was in the press but i couldn't find the article.
@arthurnittheking i have a scan of a book from 1982 from the Freundenkreis der bund Artam. May be we could share some docs.
