Hello everyone,
Does anyone recognise this (I believe German diplomatic) official at the Belgrade Fair (German architecture exhibit) in 1940? (In the full photo, he is speaking to the Prince Regent.)

Thanks very much in advance,

ID a German diplomat (?) in Belgrade 1940 (architecture exhibit)

I assume that he also might have been involved in the German-Yugoslav Society (but it's not the president, which was Emil Heinrich Meyer, nor the vice-president, which was Franz Neuhausen). (Note that he wasn't just a visitor, since I've seen him with German diplomatic officials in Belgrade in a photo from 1939 as well.)
Any ideas, anyone?

We may need to expand the search...

Anything in the local Belgrade press?

Thanks for the articles, Greg. I didn't find anything in the local press that might help with the ID of the man (but I didn't find too many info related to the event, generally). All I know is that he was (obviously) someone rather important.GregSingh wrote:We may need to expand the search...
