Please can anybody point me to a listing of those executed as part of the Röhm-Putsch. I have tried various searches but have failed to find anything which appears authoritative. I know the numbers are disputed but apparently 77 - 83 are acknowledged as being on an NSDAP listing and that would be my starting point.

I'm sure you've visited the Wikipedia site titled "Victims of the Night of the Long Knives," where there are 40 names listed and reference to as many as 85 victims in total -- though the additional names are not listed -- plus the various sources of this data.

Indeed. My basic rule of thumb: Always go with German Wikipedia.

Do you know I've never trusted Wiki as a source but hadn't considered German Wiki. I'll go and try that, thanks guys. Somewhere I'm going to find that NSDAP listing LOL
