Attached is a photo from a late 1944 magazine showing NSFK-Korpsführer Keller with Arno Kehrberg. The caption mentions that Kehrberg is the Chef des Stabes des NS-Fliegerkorps and an NSFK Obergruppenführer. The photo shows him as a Gruppenführer. Does anyone have any information regarding his promotion to Obergruppenführer or Chef des Stabes?? Sporleder was the last known Chef des Stabes as far as I am aware of. And I have never seen Kehrberg referred to an anything other than a Gruppenführer. Could both have been late war promotions? Your comments would be most welcome. Thanks.
