NSDAP Name archives question

#1

Post by ant888 » 17 Mar 2019, 02:41

G'evening,

I own an NSDAP Political Leader's belt, and have what might be part of a name that is in blue ink on the underside of the belt. Is there possibly an archive I could search for the lettering that's on the belt? I also have the area the belt's from. Any help would be great!! :milwink:

If you post a picture we might be able to help out :)

There's also numbers that I could post later.

It almost looks like there's a AW on the end in pencil:

Do the blue letters in the two pictures you posted form one word? Or are there two words. "ahme" to me would be part of the word Abnahme or acceptance. IMO, an owner of a PL belt would use a small ink stamp or hand write his name in ink. Large blue letters like you show appear to me to be production markings.

It appears to form 2 words.

Any input on what appears to be initials? (In some sort of pencil).

For some reason the initials image didn't link. Here's a better view:
