Hitler Wearing Kimono
This is supposedly taken in 1936, to honored the agreement with Japan. Is this real?

Re: Hitler Wearing Kimono
I would say no. Like yourself, I see all sorts of weird photos with Hitler and this one is either the product of a fanciful imagination or possibly Japanese propaganda of that time. Look carefully at the head: it doesn’t fit the neck / body.

I would say 99.9% fake
Re: Hitler Wearing Kimono
I have seen this before and concur that the image is not real. It is merely oddly edited kitsch, magnified by the Reichadlern on it.

I agree with Sejanus. It is impossible that Hitler would allow himself to be photographed in such a costume. He was very conservative.
Hoffman would never allow it - no Marks.

Thank you guys for the answer
Re: Hitler Wearing Kimono
I found this in a German newspaper from February 17,1937:
"Representatives of the weavers' guild from Chichibu, northwest of Tokyo, appeared
in the German embassy and presented as a gift to the leader a full Japanese robe embroidered with the swastika and the guild coat of arms. Counselor Dr. Roebel received the gift and expressed the Führer's warmest thanks to the Weber delegation."
To better promote the kimono, the Japanese certainly added Hitler's head.
Maybe that's the explanation of the photo.
