"Dortmund, 09.07.1933: “Aufmarsch der SA-Gruppe Westfalen” in Dortmund (also known as the “SA-
Westfalentreffen”). Left to right: Josef Wagner, Schepmann, unknown, Hitler, Adolf Hühnlein (behind the Führer), and Viktor Lutze."
Hi Mike,
Thanks for adding this further detail. One question: Do you not agree that that person who is visible between Schepmann and Hitler is Max Jüttner?
Many thanks, as always,
Br. James

Re: Request for Identification: NSDAP, SA, NSKK, NSFK, RAD, HJ, usw.
Jüttner did not hold SA membership at the time the photo was taken (9 July 1933). He joined at the request of Ernst Röhm on 1 November 1933, at the same time assuming the function of Wehrstahlhelmführer der SA which he held until the 30th of the month. He was then, from 01.12.1933 to 20.09.1934, assigned as Leiter of the Abteilung Ausbildung und Organisation (Department for Training and Organization) in the Führungsamt im Stab der Obersten SA-Führung (München). Here is a listing of his SA promotions:Br. James wrote: ↑29 Oct 2022 19:28"Dortmund, 09.07.1933: “Aufmarsch der SA-Gruppe Westfalen” in Dortmund (also known as the “SA-

Much new information on him- and some great photos- in the upcoming 2nd edition of my and Andreas Schulz's Leaders of the Storm Troops, Volume 1.

Hi Mike,
Thanks so much for providing the missing info on Jüttner -- info I needed to rule him out of that photo! The person seen between Schepmann and Hitler looks so much like Jüttner that I didn't look further, and even the current Volume 1 of "Leaders of the Storm Troops" doesn't include Jüttner -- it ends with Rudolf Jordan! So I am looking forward to the new Volume 1 that you described.
So, who could that person wearing the goggles on his SA kepi have been?
Blessings, my friend,
Br. James

Jüttner does appear in the first edition of Leaders of the Storm Troops, Volume 1- in the first section (pp. 217-228) because of his brief service as acting Stabschef after Lutze's death.Br. James wrote: ↑30 Oct 2022 00:17Hi Mike,

I'm cutting the "H" and "J" names for the second edition because I've vastly expanded the biographies for the OSAFS and Stabschef + SA-Ogruf. (Beckerle to Günther). Volume 2 will cover all SA-Ogruf. from "H" through "P". I went a little nuts on Göring... his biography alone will number about 125 pages with ca. 275 photos.
Don't know about the goggled fellow, but I'm thinking he might be NSKK-- possibly an Oberführer.

Hi all,
Belated thanks to Igor for identifying Hans Kolbe for me a while back. Now I have a new request - can anybody identify this man please?
Thanks,
Matt.

This photo of SA-Obergruppenführer Hans Ludin is interesting -- he appears to have been wearing an expandable band or strap around his kepi, which was disfiguring the entire cap. Does anyone know what that was about? That kepi band appears to have been held in place by the button on the front of the cap.
