Re: Identification needed?
Yes I know the SS officer with red collar is Hermann Fegelein who was Himmler's Adjutant at Hitler's Headquarters. But I am talking about the heer (army) general without jacket smiling and talking to Hitler.

Re: Identification needed?
The general marked with orange rectangle? It is the last meeting of Hitler to the oder front in March 1945.
Re: Identification needed?
Why would Fegelein be wearing a coat with red lapels? He was an SS General, should be dove grey. This photo must have been colorized.
Re: Identification needed?
Yes, it was taken from one of those colorized WWII documentaries. Why would Fegelein be wearing a coat with red lapels ? He was an SS General, should be dove gray. This photo must have been colorized.
They don't always get the colours right, it is common that they confuse gold with silver, or grays with greens...
Silver grey lapels.should be dove gray.
* Additionally, some of the colourised footage is inaccurate: German tanks shown at the beginning are green rather than grey, and a green-on-green camouflage pattern shown on Spitfires was never used by the RAF, but rather should be green-on-brown.
