Re: Goering rare picture
Hi,
On the left is Gregor Strasser and Baldur von Schirach on the right.
Andrey.

...and of course it's Ernst Röhm between Strasser and Schirach.
It looks like Hitler was caught unawares by the visit of these four, since he also liked to dress in Alpine attire!

Re: Göring rare picture
Sorry, but this is nonsense. Hitler only wore Lederhosen early on as it was traditional Bavarian dress. He soon became very conscious of showing his knees and thought that displaying his bare legs was not in keeping with his idea of a strong leader, so he stopped wearing shorts.
Max.
Re: Göring rare picture
Thanks, Max -- your input is always helpful. My thought was obviously based upon the look of four highest-level NSDAP guests visiting Hitler on the Obersalzberg while quite informally dressed, and Hitler wearing a business suit.

On the right is not von Schirach but Wilhelm Brückner. Summer 1932.

Re: Goering rare picture
Sorry, Andrey, but on this occasion you are mistaken. Michal is correct -- it is Brückner, not von Schirach.
I don't think the photo is rare. I believe it's a Hoffmann image which appears in one of his photo books. In any case, it's been published before.
Max.
Re: Göring rare picture
Yes, Max I'm mistaken, really it is Brückner, Michal is right.

Max is right. It is no rare image of Göring and I agree, that it is one of Hoffmann photos.

Re: Göring rare picture
I agree that the man is Brückner, but check out this photo of Göring and von Schirach. This may be why Andrey thought it was von Schirach. Probably taken at the same time based on Goering's lederhosen, but Schirah has long sleeves and Brückner doesn't.

Re: Göring rare picture
Like others have said (such as Max) , it is well known image. Photo is in illustrated book “Sieg Heil!” (1974) by Stephan Lorant in his mini essay “The Bavarian”.
Credit in back of book - Hoffmann (Max correct)
