An unusual photo, a general labor leader on the shoulders of his workmen, I have never seen like this before.
Perhaps on the occasion of a birthday celebration.

Ansichtskarte / Postkarte Ludwig Schroeder, Führer des Arbeitsgau VI Mecklenburg, Portrait
Link: https://www.akpool.de/ansichtskarten/29 ... g-portrait

Is there a caption on the back of these two photos ? :?

I'm repeating myself, but without the captions on the back, it will be hard to date the images or classify them further in any way, unfortunately.
The mere accumulation of photos brings little to nothing, without more details, and this does not only apply to the subject of labor services.

Hans
Hans1906, if there were writing I would include it, it's a waste of my time to scan a blank reverse...........

Nonsense, I was writing about reverse inscriptions, to solve a few questions.

Making all that visible, if available, that's a whole other question, and that would go too far here.
The few adhesive residues on the backs are the very smallest problem, but you have to want to get involved, that's all it is.

You can take my word for it, that I know a little bit about this subject, with more than 15,000 photos from my own collections.

Hans
Hans1906, I have been VERY involved here, with little in return photo wise from others, it would be nice to view some fresh pictures from some members here, I would also like to investigate the turn overs ie; when XXX left or had retired and whom was next in line for their position.

Hans1906, Arbeitsgau XIV, 2/141 Elsterwerda, this could be the location, on top of all the GAF photos, I also have an extensive database of Arbeitsdienstlagers and their Honor Names with photos.
