I have seen the man with a cane several times, it seems he is usually accompanied with Oberarbeitsführer Schinnerer (Arbeitsgau XXVIII Franken and XXXI (W)) I believe this may be Oberstarbeitsführer Viktor Bangert, what was Bangert's role in the Reichsarbeitsdienst, as his Bio is vague,is any additional information available?

Hi Gwar,

the group photo in your post #586 is amazing, I've never seen a photo like this before, unique!

Look at the many faces of the young men, a unique photo, a real treasure in the mass of the many RAD pictures...

A very unflattering photo of Reichsarbeitsführer Hierl (looks cross eyed), if I were to hazard a guess at who he is greeting, I would bet it is Generalarbeitsführer Neuerburg, Arbeitsgau XXII Hessen-Nord and later XXX Bayern-Hochland, of note, if we can collaborate notes and period documents, we could come up with a timeline of the Oberarbeitsführer and Generalarbeitsführer, it could be a first.. My post #346 and #359 are photos from a meeting that included Reichsarbeitsführer Hierl and Generalarbeitsführer von Wenckstern at an unknown location with a few un-identifiable officers, the pictures have a Feldküche (Field Kitchen / Stove) set up, I was perplexed as to not knowing the location or the context of the gathering, I have received a new photo that sheds some light on the possible area,
1.) they are all wearing side arms, (Foreign soil)
2.) the officer on the left side has a sleeve shield (Dienststellenabzeichen) of 375, Gau XXXVII - Sudetenland-West (Teplitz-Schönau), Gruppe 375 Gablonz, the absence of a Abt. indicates Gruppenstab (Group staff), the adjutant is wearing the Aiguilette
What still puzzles me is why von Wenckstern is present? (Formerly the Arbeitsführer of IV Pommern-Ost and IX Brandenburg-West)?

On the left, former Adjutant to Reichsarbeitsführer Hierl and an Arbeitsführer in his own right Herbert Freiherr von Stetten-Erb, directly behind Hierl is Generalarbeitsführer Klein, Arbeitsgau XVII Niedersachsen-Mitte and later XXI Niederrhein, to the right looks like Generalarbeitsführer Triebel, Arbeitsgau III, Wartheland and later Arbeitsgau VII, Schleswig-Holstein, the Generalarbeitsführer in the very back, left of Klein looks very familiar, location is unknown
