Re: Thanks
Hmmm.Richard wrote:Thanks, err can i ask how do you get the ' " ' over the U like in fuher and Rohem. Thanks
There's no ü in fuher because that would spell füher instead of führer.
Also, there's no ö in Rohem as that would spell Röhem instead of Röhm.
Thanks - but
I know fuhrer then but still how do i get those dots on top of the U , and the O on Rohm. Thank You.

Try the "Who's Who in Nazi Germany" by Robert S. WitrichRichard wrote:Are these the main organisations in Nazi Germany

Re: Main Players
First Rohem and Fuher and now Gobells, you're doing it on purpose, right?
Such a surprise: ue means ü. Thats an official spelling rule. Just like oe means ö, etc. Basically its a rule that comes into effect when they use a typwriter that doesn't have an umlaut-option. But ue and ü are pronounced exactly the same. But u and ü are not pronounced the same.
Its like writing a "2". You can also write "Two"

Knowing
Of course, not everyone knows how to use the alt and number keys to make different gramatical spellings. I can't put the number lock on on my computer and type [Alt] + o to produce the correct letter - it doesn't work, simple as that
I would have to have a list of the ASCII number codes which would then allow me to do that - but it's at home and I am at work.
For anyone curious and using Word use the Insert menu and the Symbol option, it gives you a list
Regards
