Okay, so I made a post on here about how I am testing the theory out that Nazism was a variant of Socialism (not Marxist socialism, but plain old socialism with a racial emphasis), with the idea of a "third position". I have dedicated lots of my time to reading articles, books, and speeches, but I still have some books to read I haven't read yet.
One thing that I feel is on my mind is the claims that Hitler was such a pro-capitalist, and/or pro-corporatist. I am familiar that most historians who have written books on the Nazi's have made these claims, but In my search, I just want to look for the truth. I am looking to find evidence, and I want to see what it supports*.
1. What other speeches besides the famous Dusseldorf speech in 1932 did Hitler make in which he tried to sway the industrialists?
2. What policies did the Nazi's take that were supposedly in the favor of the industrialists?
3. What evidence is there that would make the claim the third reich was a capitalist nation? What evidence indicates a free-market economy in Nazi Germany? How does this compare with a lassiez-faire economy like America had before the Great Depression?
4. Why is there so much contradiction in Hitler's table-talks, and his writings that are against the capitalist system?
5. Explain to me the policies of coercion that Hitler used against the industrialists?
*Correction made to post
What kind of evidence would support the idea that Nazism was pro-capitalist?

You're actually supposed to see what the evidence supports, not seek evidence that supports your position.

I am sorry, I should correct my post. You are right, I am looking to see what the evidence supports, not evidence that supports my position.OpanaPointer wrote: ↑23 Sep 2021, 23:58You're actually supposed to see what the evidence supports, not seek evidence that supports your position.
