Walking down the red carpet left to right: Will Decker, Himmler, Hitler, Wilhelm Brückner, (maybe Bormann, face looks like him, figure don't) Karl Wolff, Hierl, Julius Schaub.

Thank you very much Halfdan! Will Decker adjutant to Hierl? Any idea on occasion as there's nothng written on the back of the org. picture. Could it be The Parteitag der Freiheit in 1935? Thanks again.
Re: Who besides Himmler, Hitler, Wolff, Bormann and Hierl in photo?
The RAD officer on the left side, probably a "Oberstfeldmeister" (Hauptmann) carried the "Achselschnur" / "Adjutantenschnur".
Photo was taken at Nürnberg / Zeppelinfeld for sure.
1935 , I would also assume as a dating.
Wilhelm „Will“ Decker was promoted to the rank of a "Generalarbeitsführer" in the year 1935.
So it could hardly have been Decker, but maybe I am completely wrong ?

Hallo Hans,
Thank you, danke schon for the info. I will try to dig further on Decker. I am certainly no expert on RAD but do have some nice org photos.

Jochen,
very much, who of us is an expert about anything...
But I would welcome to see the source and the original photos, as far as possible ?

Hans, looking at an image of Decker on the net I definitely see a resemblance. Thank you. You might want to contact me via pm.

NOT Decker. This is probaby an aide to Hierl. The collar tabs show a low ranking member of the RAD. Decker as stated above already held general rank and this is not a general. No resemblence to Decker at all. See photo of Decker here from late 1934-35 period note the large ears and gaunt face. They are not of the same man at all. Also the photo dates from 1936 at the earliest based on the SS visor eagles,. Based on Hitler's visor it is probably from 1937.

Mark, indeed other photos show a very different face. I referred to the following one which does show resemblance. Anyway, thanks for the additional info.

Re: Who besides Himmler, Hitler, Wolff, Bormann and Hierl in photo?
A "Generalarbeitsführer" never served as an aide-de-camp ("Adjutant") for Konstantin Hierl, that would be news to me ?
There were better uses for these men, as a "bag carrier", the men were very definitely underutilized, I know no different from my records of the RAD.
It's all very complicated, as the early ranks of the NSAD are very difficult to distinguish from the later ranks of the RAD, but who am I telling all this...
Thanks again, very interesting topic.

Wrong, a "Oberstfeldmeister" was a "Hauptmann" (Captain), one rank under a "Arbeitsführer" (Major)The collar tabs show a low ranking member of the RAD

Hans,
To to me a Captain and Major are low ranking men as opposed to a General. That is all I was alluding to. As this photo is from at least 1936 it would be RAD at this point in time. And not that confusing.

Mark,
all this is beyond question, I probably misunderstood your answer, I apologize, sorry.

Hans:
Absolutely nothing to apologize for. I was not clear enough in my answer. I appreciate your contributions to the forum -- especially the RAD which you are the absolute expert in.

Thanks Mark,
I am not sure about the year 1936 for the above photo, but a better answer will be found, later...
Experts are less than a handful, I only remember what I have read, or seen myself, nothing more.
The great rest is darkness.

Re: Who besides Himmler, Hitler, Wolff, Bormann and Hierl in photo?
Photo taken during the "8. Reichsparteitag der NSDAP" in Nürnberg (Reichsparteitag der Ehre, 8-14.09.1936). Can't be 1935- the SS members all wear the new style of cap eagle introduced early in 1936. And Karl Wolff is still an SS-Brif. so can't be 1937 (promoted SS-Gruf., 30.01.1937).
Note that Hitler does not wear his Goldenes Ehrenzeichen der NSDAP. If memory serves, he went several years without wearing it and did not resume doing so until sometime in 1937.
Dr. Robert Ley visible between Brückner and Wolff.
Best wishes,
~ Mike
