Who was Ribbentrops doctor in 1944?

Foreign Minister Joachim von Ribbentrop made a surprise visit to Finland in June 1944 to negotiate terms of German military assistance to Finland. Both contemporary German witnesses, ambassador Wipert von Blücher and press attaché to German embassy, Hans Metzger mention in their memoirs that Ribbentrop had a personal doctor in his 14-person entourage. Identity of the doctor was not mentioned but he was responsible of providing Ribbentrop with sleeping pills and other medicines during the short visit.

Does anyone here know who could have been Ribbentrop's "Begleitarzt" in June 1944?

Kind regards,
Mikko

Good afternoon mty,

maybe this publication as a *.pdf file from the year 2017 is somewhat useful to you:

Die Ärzte der Naziführer – Karrieren und Netzwerke - H-Soz-Kult

Link to the *.pdf file: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q ... 8538272813

Die Ärzte der Nazi-Führer https://www.lit-verlag.de/isbn/978-3-643-13689-3
Biographical studies of leading National Socialists have been booming in recent years. However, the physicians of the Nazi leaders have hardly been considered so far, although many of these physicians held leading positions themselves and were personally and actively involved in Nazi crimes. They functioned not only as practitioners, but in many cases also as advisors and confidants to their patients, and were thus able to exert a targeted influence on political decisions as well as on their own career formation.

This anthology examines selected biographies of these physicians before and after 1945, taking into account the relationship between doctor and patient. It traces career paths and networks and shows existing scope for action.

Thank you Hans!

Unfortunately that book, which seems interesting indeed, doesn't appear to include Ribbentrop's physician in 1944 or mention his name.
