Hitler gun which he shot himself...??

#1

Post by LAstry » 16 Mar 2022, 15:10

when Hitler poisoned/shot himself..what type of gun did he use....??? One of the accounts {Payne; Bullock; Trevor Roper} claimed that he had 2 guns a 7.65 {PPK or PP} and a smaller caliber pistol...by the way he also had a palsey in one of his arms....could Eva Brown have shot him before committing suicide herself? although there are descriptions of small bullet head wond in either his temple or his forehead.....I never come accounts of any powder burns on his wound?

He used his very standard personal Walther PPK 7.65.
He instructed Linge to shoot him through the head if he found him alive after the double suicide.
Eva Hitler of course used cyanide.
His pistol was pocketed by Athur Axmann who later thought it into the Spree during his escape from the Bunker.

Nothing is "nice" about the above photo, but probably the only known photo of Hitler wearing the Mauser? Pistol
as a sidearm...

Thats it.
Compare it to the Mauser pistol holster / certificate in the former sale...

Answers / Questions ?

Alright, Hans. Why you sound so offended by my comment?. I meant that its a 'good' photo that I haven't seen..

Btw. What should I have said about the photo. "Oh a photo of Hitler wearing a holster" or some such.

You are a weird guy sometimes..

As Ivan Ž said once to you:

"
Cool it down for a month and either come back with your head cleared or don't come back at all. Forcing your presence here or elsewhere may only give you an illusion of the companionship that you seek, and a headache to the others, and deep inside you know it. Try finding a real life person to talk to for a change, go to a bar, or get a dog or something."

You have never seen many photos, please get over it.

Your comment about the trumpeter in the German Bundestag, on the occasion of the funeral service for the fallen German soldiers, you overdid me.
And I won't answer your nonsense anymore.

How have I not seen many photos and how am I speaking nonsense? Anyway. Oh why won't you answer the back to be me?, did I hit a hard spot?. It's best if you don't answer rudely back to other people you don't get shit thrown at you. Ah geez.

And the comments regarding the Trumpeter in the Bunderstag were purely sarcastical.

That is NOT a Mauser holster, by its size possibly a Walther PP the larger version of PPK.
The Führer had a leather chamois pocket made in all his straight legged black trousers to carry his smaller PPK.
I was told that directly by the late great Otto Günsche.
A man who knew how to keep secrets. He was offered huge sums first by Spiegel then countless other media giants for his memoirs....all of which he turned down FLAT.

Seriously, dozens of personal Hitler pistols were auctioned off since the 1970s, sometimes for enormous sums.
Nothing at all could be proven as to whether a Mr. Günsche took the suicide gun himself, and that was never proven either.

The gun is probably in the drawer of a Russian soldier after the bunker was stormed in 1945.
Forgotten, rusted, or thrown away...

Who cares about that today, I'm sure not.

Arthur Axmann pocketed the suicide pistol, whilst during the breakout he threw it into the Spree.
AH as said before was presented witha few garish pistols down the years but were clearly presentation pieces.

Günsche only considered keeping the brass shell but decided against it.
