Generalgouvernement - History, Organization, & Personalities

Post by Michael Miller » 23 Dec 2003 17:08

Would like to open discussion on all aspects of the history, organization, and personalities of the German occupation of Poland, 1939 - 1945. We have a number of highly knowledgeable authorities on the Generalgouvernement and I'd like to make this thread something of a Forum within a Forum for this topic- organizational charts, biographical sketches, photos (such as the wonderful and ultra-rare images posted by agibaer).

As a start, perhaps someone could post a basic organizational framework- Hauptabteilungen and their Chefs/Praesidenten, with dates they held those posts.

Thanks in advance for any and all contributions.

Best wishes,
~ Mike Miller / ABR
