is it true fact?

I didn't know this, I wouldn't be surprised if it's true, but it is doubious. On rthe other hand, the minister could probably get into trouble not doing so

I can't find any details of the ceremony itself. I did find a rather weird website with a fictional account of the wedding involving charaters from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Mr Spock in which the question is posed:

The other Ken is correct, I meant the question was asked Hitler and Eva Braun at their wedding. I believe I read it in the book, "The Bunker: but I can't locate my copy at the moment.

Christian, they weren't married by a minister, he was a bureaucrat from the City Hall of Berlin.

Hi Tolga, don't know about that question, but the guy that married them was Justice of Peace Walter Wagner, who also married the Goebbels couple. Apparently he was brought from front and was still wearing Volksturm armband in the ceremony. He was killed on his way back to his Volksturm post.

this was required (but not all applied) to ask the couple in the wedding ceremony in church.

Yeah, it was a "law" that was not official. My grandfather was a law student before the war and he said many years ago about Nazi laws and I remembered he said that.

On pages 24 and 25 of Volume 1 of the book "Leaders and Personalities of the Third Reich" by Charles Hamilton, there is a copy of the official document from the Oberburgermeister der Reichshauptstadt used for Hitler's wedding. On this document, both Hitler and Eva Braun had to sign attesting that they were "rein arischer Abstammung( (of pure Aryan heritage). They both signed the document so if they weren't asked if they were Aryan, they had to attest so in writing.
By the way, the witnesses who signed the document were Dr. Joseph Goebbels and Martin Bormann. It was also signed by "an amazed municipal councilor, one Walter Wagner, who had been recruited by Goebbels from a nearby fighting unit to perform the ceremony."
