Re: Holders of NSDAP Numbers 1 to 100
Unfortunately, I don't have the entire list. I found that page in a period book, included because it showed Hitler's name, I'm sure.
As for the article, it might be a while before it appears. Roger has the text & the illus., but I don't know what else he has in the pipeline. I'll give a heads-up when it appears...

I thought Hitler was member '505' in the early days, the first 500 being manufactured to appear more impressive.........Drexler was number one if I recall.

You can find a typewrited copy of the first list in the Bundesarchiv, NS 26, Nr. 232.
Anton Drechsler is Nr. 526.
I have the whole copy, but for various reasons I can not post it.
Jeff, I would be very much interested in your article.

Hello Oberhessin,
Thank you for telling us where the list is available, is the NS 26 Nr 232 the numbers needed to locate the list on Microfilm at the Bundesarchiv?
Best,
James

Hello,
Does anyone have Eduard Dietl's Party Number? I believe it was below 100 also.

James

Even I think Dietl was member of the DAP, before the NSDAP.

The leaflet with the invitation where Hitler spoke by first time against Prof. Baumann and Drexler invited to join to the DAP.

Re: Holders of NSDAP Numbers 1 to 100
If we are going on with the next 100 after February 1925, I can add:
Agnes Wildermuth, Munich, Nr. 128

This is interesting. if we think about the trick to let the counting start with 500, he gets back his old number.

Hello Oberhessin,
That is true, I thought the same thing when I looked at the DAP and NSDAP numbers.

James

Re: Holders of NSDAP Numbers 1 to 100
I thought Dietl was forced by the Reichswehr to leave the NSDAP in 1920, and did not "rejoin" again until January 30, 1943, when Hitler gave him a GPB and made him a member of the Party once more? If he already held No. 24, why would there have been a need to give him a GPB in 1943?
Re: Holders of NSDAP Numbers 1 to 100
Does anyone know the membership number of Edmund Heines after he re-joined the NSDAP in 1925?
