Does anyone know anything about a Dr. Edwin Bormann? It has been told to me that he was Martin Bormann's brother. He was a medical doctor in california , graduated from Stanford, and died about 5 years ago. Any research that I do shows only 1 surviving brother, Albert, but he does not seem like the same person.

Thanks

He may have had a daughter named Heidi who married an American. Anyone know anything about Heidi Boormann?

Hi,

I am just starting a search of my family tree and I would be interested in any info about Albert Bormann's family history please.
I've known for many years now that he was my great Grandfather, this was something that was not really brought up in conversation with my Grandmother who died 5 years ago now.....
It's an unfortunate family link I know , but I would appreciate any knowledge regarding this matter.
I know that Albert Bormann took my Grandmother to see his brother Martin, when she was just a child to his office, but he asked them to leave.
I can see from the comments on this site that they didn't get on, but this is the first time i've investigated this , for obvious reasons...!
My Grandmother moved to England in the 1950's some time with my mother.

How are you exactly related? Can you give names? I highly doubt a real relative of the Bormann family would go on the Axis History Forum to do a search especially when their history is all over the internet and easy to access.

Best,

James

James I'm not looking for people to disbelieve what i'm saying, I'm just looking for info. Albert Bormann was my Grandmothers father, and as I said I am just starting my research now and this was the first site I encountered!
My Grandmothers name was Gertrude Masche.

Dan

My father received a silver cup from a friend who passed away a few years ago. The cup was from an abandoned office in the german embassy in Libya. The cup has A. C. Borrmann 5, Juli 1847, it was obtained in the office of Martin Boromann. Think this could be his grandparents birth cup?

Often he appears on Berghof terrace in many Bertchesgarden's filmings.
