I have a translation of an allegation that three British escaped Pows were tortured and possibly killed by the Gestapo in July 1942. The allegation was made by Marie Stara, a Czech airline stewardess/resistance fighter. The Czech Interior Ministry investigated the allegations and found that the substance of the claim was false insofar as it implicated a Czech policeman. It didn't say anything about the fate if the soldiers - although I know that all three survived the war. Does anyone have any details about the Gestapo presence in Kolin? I'm happy to share the translations.
