re eating like kings, I doubt it. My impression is that AH's tastes were purposely more pedestrian. Now Goering on the other hand...

Well, if Hitler's silverware patterns were any indication -- both the Formal State Service and his Informal Service -- as well as all of the numerous ancillary side pieces, his tables were well-prepared for any and all courses and menus!

It's a total myth....no such tasters ever existed.
