Hitler was driven by Ferry Porsche at the foundation stone laying ceremony of the KdF wagen factory. He appears amused and his bodyguards don't 😁

AMT made brass chassis 1/24 slot car kits in the 60s. I bought a Chapparal off eBay this year, not built and in the original box. They did quite a few of the Can-Am series cars, I have no idea how many were produced. The AMT model number on the box is 9303-800.

yes look at 10:45
It shows AH getting into the passenger seat of a car. The driver was already inside at the wheel.

Hitler was a card carrying member of ADAC since at least 1926 so I would think he had credentials and was able to drive a car.

That is possibly correct Hitler could drove. But I have never seen an image of Hitler behind the wheel of a car of any type.

NEVER.

Good morning,

in Germany before 1945 there was a very common quote/joke:

The short quote rhymes in the german language, presumably before 1945 a whisper joke used in secret, whatever.

"Flüsterwitz" was the term back then for such jokes, dealing mostly with the high ranking national socialists.

People went to jail for telling such a "Flüsterwitz", some people even to a concentration camp, the german comedian,
actor, and autor Herr Werner Finck was one of the many victims back then.

4.) Gott erhalte unseren Führer der SA Ernst Röhm.
Und darunter in roter Tinte: Am 30.06.1934 bereits erhalten!"
The paradise of the successful lends itself perfectly to a hell for the unsuccessful. (Bertold Brecht on Hollywood)
