Monument ID...
Monument ID...
Anybody recognize the monument in the background? Looks like a war monument (WW1, Franco-Prussian war?)
Re: Monument ID...
I searched France, Belgium and Germany without success.

Re: Monument ID...
Harro,
I tried to improve and sharpen your uploaded photo a little bit, only little was possible...
A fallen soldier under the wings of an angel was a common symbol for fallen soldiers of World War I, not only here in Germany.
Sorry for no further help from my side.

Re: Monument ID...
Were they members of SS-Pz.AA 1 / LAH ?
If we can date the photo it will help to narrow down the location...

Re: Monument ID...
At least one of them is SS-PzAA1, Panzerspähzug and missing in action since January 1945. I've checked all their late war locations but no luck
