I've been looking on the web for data whether there was a remuneration framework however discovered nothing. Before, I went over irregular remarks about material help for occupants of war-attacked regions. Sadly, I can't remember much on the subject, and I don't recall the sources. Wish I gave more consideration at that point!

Your photograph collection with the photos of regular citizens is astounding. To supplement your photographs of shoddy lodging, here are a few connects to pictures on a Russian document site. The pictures are copyrighted and can't be posted on different locales without the proprietor's composed authorization.

My goal is to reconstruct daily life through the eyes of a regular citizen: period housing and scenery, making a living, procuring food, taking care of children and family, dealing with German troops, obeying (or sabotaging) German laws and orders, etc. Holocaust and war crimes pertain if the events took place in public view or affected the general public (e.g. ghetto life, not visible to most people, doesn't apply, but teams of forced Jewish laborers cleaning city streets are relevant).

Hi Raúl,

I think one/you should use more reliable sources than a page of an unknown publication with lots of claims. There is no proof that those are Russians, neither that they were partisans nor that the "big fellow in teh center laid the nose conviently over his own shoulder" as they state.
Quite hypocritical that the headline states "The German Army executes five brave young Russians for not being in uniform".
How did the author know that they were ececuted men were brave? Only a few years later the US Army didn´t hesitate to shoot German teenagers for not being in uniform.
By the way, as this is obviously an English source how did they get already in 1942 (claim from the seller:1942 Original One Page Print Article German Army Executes Young Russians) photos allegedly found on a dead German officer on the Soviet front?

Regards,
Roman

Hello Roman :D; Do not be mad about it, I do not open a judgment to anyone .....

truth and good point if I were doing a research for a book .....but I think it is different here, in a forum, where you can debate and shed light on the matter (historical interest) ..... especially when this article is for sale by the way to get money .......just a thought. Cheers. Raúl M 8-).

Since from 1942 the Soviet propaganda apparatus was able to maintain a sizeable weekly paper (the Soviet Weekly) filled with such stuff, it can't have been much of a stretch to provide such material to their allies when needed.
