Now to robberies and extortion (upper line on chart).

Robberies and extortion 1943-44
For 2nd quarter of 1943, top 5 for robberies and extortion were:
Salzburg - 73
Kattowitz - 61
Posen - 28
Danzig - 23
Düsseldorf - 22

For 2nd quarter of 1944, top 5 for robberies and extortion were:
Kattowitz - 409
Königsberg - 160
Danzig - 139
Posen - 23
Wien - 21

Increase of robberies and extortion in areas like Kattowitz, Königsberg and Danzig was staggering.

Next category - Serious theft and fraud.
Fraud numbers seemed to be slightly trending down, so lets concentrate on serious theft (upper line).

Numbers from Kriminalpolizeileitstellen are quite interesting.
For 2nd quarter of 1943, top 5 for serious theft were:
Düsseldorf - 4054
Berlin - 3966
Dresden - 3523
Wien - 3087
Kattowitz - 2529

For 2nd quarter of 1944, top 5 for serious theft were:
Berlin - 6833
Düsseldorf - 6765
Dresden - 5297
Wien - 4022
Kattowitz - 3064
