Foreigners in Weimar Republic

#1

Post by IlCreatore » 28 Jun 2018, 19:45

Does anybody know if the foreign presence was common during Weimar Republic and the first years of Nazi regime? Because both the context do not seem to be particularly attractive for foreigners (maybe Weimar first years) and it is really difficult to find statitics about that.

Do you know of sources or databases which may come to help?

Look at :
Zuwanderung nach Deutschland und Ausländer nach Staatsangehörigkeit , table 2 .
Caution the numbers are not complete : the Poles are missing .

And also : Ausländerische Bevölkerung in Deutschland: Table 1.1 : 1933 : 756,800

Look at Statisches Jahrbuch here:
http://www.digizeitschriften.de/dms/toc ... N514401303

Data is included in Chapter I of each volume:

For example, for the results of the May 1939 census
