I have just read the new fascinating history of Naafi (Canteen Army: The Naafi Story) which describes how British troops were served by this organisation in just about every theatre of war (and in post war life in Germany). Was there a similar organisation for the German army?

For American readers, the NAAFI is the British equivalent of the US PX.
