Supposedly earliest known footage of Hitler

Anyone know anything about this? I've never come across it, or of Hitler surrounded by so many Bavarian flags. The narration is clearly wrong, but I would have thought I'd have stumbled upon this long ago....

Yea that's a well known clip of him...someone has tried to colour it by th looks.
There is an earlier clip...the earliest...from the same scene photographed by Hoffmann in Odeonplatz....mingling with crowd on the day war was declared

Cheers- how is it that it has managed to escape my notice all this time? Would like to know from where it comes; the mountains indicate south of Munich. As for the supposed 1914 footage, I don't think many credit it.

All I can find is this, which only shows about 5 seconds:

As far as I'm concerned, it could be anyone.

No....I would say that is the unmistakable image of the man.

Indeed you see the hand cranking movie cameraman beside Hoffmann.

In 1929 when he met Hoffmann he told him he was there at that rally. Hofmann then scoured his negatives with a magnifying glass and eventualky came across the famous image.

It's really no stretch or hard to believe in the picture...
