Austrian and Saxon reactions to disproportionally heavy losses at Stalingrad?

Austria and Saxony both lost three divisions at Stalingrad, which was proportionally very much higher than other Wehrkreises/provinces in the Reich.

Did this produce any differential reaction from the population in these areas?
